Hilariously Challenge Your Wedding Guests

Assign each guest a special mission that they have to complete before the end of the night or during the course of the night. GIVE multiple guests the same mission and watch the hilariousness ensue.

Spring is right around the corner and that can only mean one thing: WEDDING SEASON!

The Feathers and Foil duo loves weddings…like freaking loves weddings.

Last fall, my (Lauren speaking) BFF got married and I was thrilled to be her Matron of Honor. One of her wishes for the reception was to give each of the guests a special “mission” along with their seating assignment. Even though I was busy with hand-lettering her beautiful glass signage, I jumped at the opportunity to help her come up with the missions. The bride, groom, and I had a blast assigning them to their guests.

For favors, they gave away local honey and pollinator-friendly seed packets which doubled as seating numbers. Each guest’s mission was printed on labels that fit perfectly on the back of the packets.

If you’re planning your wedding, a friend’s wedding, a rehearsal dinner, or even a couple’s wedding shower,  I couldn’t recommend this fun, low maintenance activity that will definitely get you some hilarious pictures and stories on the big day. And, if you’re a shier bride, this is a great way to share the spotlight with your guests.

Here’s the skinny: assign each guest a special mission that they have to complete before the end of the night or during the course of the night, for example –

This was such a nice addition to the table. As the guests began to read their missions, conversations started and the table became alive with smiles. Thank you!
